Privacy.
A short list, because a small shop doesn't need much: enough to sell you a license, deliver it, and help you if something goes wrong. No ads, no tracking, no selling your data.

What we collect
- When you buy: your email, the license holder’s name, the tier, what you bought and what you paid. The license holder’s name is printed in your license file.
- Your billing details are collected by Stripe, our payment processor. We see your name, billing address and the last four digits of your card, never the full card number.
- When you download: the date, your IP address and your browser type, so a license that turns up somewhere it shouldn’t can be traced back to its order.
- When you write to us: whatever you put in the email.
- If you join the mailing list (in the footer, or by ticking the box in your cart): your email address and where you signed up.
What we don’t collect
No accounts, no passwords, no analytics, no advertising trackers. Buying something never adds you to the mailing list; only signing up does.
The mailing list
A few emails a year about new typefaces and plugins. Every one has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes one click. The list is sent through Resend; we never share or sell it.
Cookies
Two small cookies, both needed for the site to work: one remembers what’s in your cart, the other remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. Neither is shared with anyone.
Who else handles your information
Only the services that run the shop, and only for that purpose:
- Stripe: payments, tax calculation and fraud prevention
- Resend: sending your order email, and the mailing list if you join it
- Vercel: hosting the site
- Neon: the database that holds orders
- Cloudflare: storing the font files you download
Some of these are based in the United States, so your information may be processed there. We never sell or rent it to anyone.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as your license lasts, which is forever, because they’re how we confirm your license and let you download your fonts again. We also need them for tax records. Download records are kept for the same reason.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, by writing to hello@lonemantype.com. If you ask us to delete your order records, we’ll keep only what tax law requires, and we won’t be able to re-send your fonts afterwards.
Changes
If this changes, this page changes first, and the date at the top will say when.
